Yayo El Chefo.

A self taught chef, who had the worlds best teacher his mother and life.

My interest begin when I was just a child and my mother taught me how to bake bread.

Through my life I have always been inspried by culture, herbs and comibinations of flavours. This interest has led me to many different locations and flavor experiences, that I use in my cooking today.

For me food is not just a part of the day, its not just free energy..its life. 

This is why all my food is fresh, non-processed, and there are no use of artificial flavours or unhealthy alteratives such as palm and seed oils.

 

Why I am a chef?

Food has always been my therapy. I go to the kitchen to think, to unwind, to give myself peace of mind.
I cook because I love it, I love the reactions of happy consumers, but mostly I love the look on my wife's face after a great home cooked meal. My true hobby is experimenting and improving my food, taking inspiration from around the world as well as focusing on my native roots of Chile.
